Opportunity for Greater Grenville residents

 

Residents of Greater Grenville have an opportunity to share ideas and develop plans for the area during a Design Workshop on Thursday 26th July at Bain’s Hall, commencing at 9:15 a.m.

 

The Physical Planning Unit of the Ministry of Economic Development and Planning will conduct the Workshop, with input from local residents on:

 

How to develop Greater Grenville,

What to preserve for heritage purposes,

How to improve services, infrastructure, and

Other developmental matters

 

Greater Grenville is bordered by Conference in the north, Soubise in the south and Mirabeau in the west.

 

The one-day Workshop, which is open to the media, will feature a presentation of the designs developed by the participating residents, as well as results from previous community consultations, at approximately 2:15 p.m.

 

This Local Area Plan for Greater Grenville is undertaken with support from the Ministry of Community Development, the Agency for Reconstruction and Development, and the Canadian Institute of Planners with funding from the Canadian International Development Agency.
